Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

The live broadcast will be hosted by Fox 5 Anchor Ernie Anastos and My9 Anchor Lynda Lopez with special guest host Tito Puente Jr., and will air Sunday, June 10th from 11 AM-1 PM on FOX 5, and from 1 PM-3 PM on My9. FOX 5's Lisa Evers, My9's Giovanna Drpic and Good Day New York's Mike Woods will also report live from the Parade.

Leone said, 'We are thrilled to share this incomparable event with viewers for the second year in a row and commemorate the 50th year anniversary with the immensely talented and fan favorite Tito Puente, Jr. This has become one of the most beloved and widely anticipated traditions celebrating the rich history and culture of Puerto Rico and we are proud to be the exclusive broadcaster.'

Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award-winner Ricky Martin has been named King and will help lead the Parade. Historically, the parade has gathered the brightest stars in entertainment and Puerto Rican culture, including Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Rosie Perez, Jimmy Smits, Roselyn Sanchez, Tego Calderon, and others. Scheduled guests this year include Geraldo Rivera, Daddy Yankee, Calle 13, and Elvis Crespo.

Lugo comments, 'This great event in conjunction with the daily efforts of thousands of Puerto Ricans throughout this nation for the last 50 years has resulted into progress and great achievements on behalf of our people in our communities.' These achievements have deserved the respect and recognition, not only of our brotherhood, but also of other ethnic groups. The National Puerto Rican Day Parade has achieved its goals unifying our Puerto Rican communities throughout the nation.'

Each year, more than 80,000 participants march up Fifth Avenue in the Parade. In addition, the Parade is attended by an average of more than two million people along its route making it one of the largest outdoor events in the United States.

Carlos Velasquez, President of Galos Corporation, the official business and marketing agency of the Parade, said, 'We are making history for the future generations of all Puerto Ricans and Hispanics. This Parade promises to be the largest moving concert ever produced in the City of New York. The 50th anniversary of the Parade represents all the hard work of the Board members, participants and the corporations that year after year support the Parade.

WWOR-TV My9 and WNYW FOX 5 are owned-and-operated by the FOX Television Stations, one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 35 stations in 26 markets, covering nearly 45% of U.S. television homes.
