Rihanna & Jay Z performed the hit song "Umbrella" live at the MTV Movie Awards that aired Sunday June 3, 2007.

"Rihanna's silver body paint sequence was my favorite to edit," says Mechi. "The music tells me what it wants, I let the emotions of the song lead me in my decisions regarding editorial style, effects and form. Director Chris Applebaum allows me the freedom to experiment. The idea of split screen, negative/positive efx, jump cutting, reversing shots was provoked by the mood and emotions that Rihanna projected in the footage of that scene".

The directing & editing team caused a world wide sensation with the Carls Jr. commercial "Paris" featuring Paris Hilton scantily clad in a Gucci bathing suit, washing her Bentley while munching on a Carl's Jr. burger.
