BET Presents Music Matters Vol. 1

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Louder Than Life/ Sony Music) Louder Than Life/RAL has partnered with BET Music Matters on a new compilation album series entitled BET Presents Music Matters Vol. 1. The album is being released on June 23 in conjunction with the BET Experience, a 3-day concert event at L.A. Live surrounding the BET Awards, which airs live on June 29.

BET Music Matters is a multi-platform initiative that identifies and exposes new ground breaking artists and music across BET and Centric properties, as well as through national tours and monthly showcases. The platform has helped launch the careers of some of today's hottest talent including J. Cole, Miguel, Elle Varner, Marsha Ambrosius and Kendrick Lamar.  

Commenting on his excitement about the new partnership, Executive Producer SalaAM ReMi states, "A big part of my career has been finding new talent and helping them become superstars. With my partnership with Music Matters, I am very happy to be able to be a part of this compilation that shows not only the artists who have previously gone from Music Matters onto superstardom, but also up and coming talent."

BET Presents Music Matters Vol. 1 is available for pre-order today at Amazon.com and fans can also hear a taste of the album by streaming "My Crib" (Remix) from GRAMMY® nominated artist Mack Wilds featuring Pusha T. Other artists featured on the compilation include established Music Matters acts Miguel, Marsha Ambrosius, Big Sean, Melanie Fiona, Elle Varner as well as some rising stars like Mali Music, Adrian Marcel, Gabi Wilson, Ashley Kimbrae, Curtis Fields and The Internet.
