New York, NY (Roadrunner Records) - 152. That's the number of tastemaking college radio stations that have added The Dresden Dolls new album, Yes Virginia, to their rotations. The album was the No 1 Most Added new record to the format the week of March 20, beating out new albums by format faves like Ben Harper and Gomez.
In layman's terms, college stations report their Top 30 playlists and 5 adds to CMJ, the college radio bible, every week. These lists mathematically make up the college radio charts.
This is a great start for the Dolls, to land at No 1 Most Added.
We'll update you on their chart progress each week, and since I'm the one working the record to the format, all the info will come from me. -Amy.
