Denver Based Band Hellgrammites Release New Music Video For "Mercury"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Denver based hardcore/punk band Hellgrammites just released their newest EP "Feral" earlier in the year, and just released a music video for their track "Mercury." The video was released on 5/27 just before the band's headlining show on the 31st at the Marquis Theater.

The band consists of Erik Petersen (Lead Vocals), Lehi Petersen (Guitar, Vocals), Troy Ten Eyck (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Bill Jenkins (Drums, Backing Vocals). The members take on a stage presence that is entertaining, provocative, fun, and uncomfortable all at the same time. See full bio at mychoirisonfire.com. The band likes to play music that invokes emotions not normally meant to be felt by an audience.

Lehi Petersen (guitar, vocals, keyboards) states: "Music traditionally addresses a limited range of emotions; happy, sad, angry, etc. We want to address feeling, emotions, and issues that people don't feel comfortable talking about. That's why we call ourselves discomfort punk. There are so many other things in the world besides love and heartbreak that everyone chooses to ignore on a daily basis. We want to bring those things out through our music."

Among writing new material and lining up a small tour at the end of summer, the band has also undergone a change in drummers. The change hasn't slowed the band down, if anything, it's given a revitalized drive to the project and the foreseeable future of Hellgrammites. The band is working to push their sound to new listeners and gain national recognition within the next year. Take a moment to check out the bands music, videos, and more.
