New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Company) The post-hardcore outfit Built Upon Sand from Newcastle upon Tyne has released a new music video for their song "Integrity". The polished and meticulously-tight track originally premiered with Last.fm and is the first single on their debut EP,
Blind Justice (release date TBA).

The Geordie post-hardcore outfit known for being a hard-hitting live act, BUILT UPON SAND will brand a permanent mark on your memory. The bands origins lie in school mates Joe Pye (Clean Vocals), Adam Ford (Drums), Jack Boddy (Vocals) and Michael (Rhythm Guitar) meeting local guitarist Josh Hummerston in 2012. Lead Guitarist Josh had recruited bass player Tom Loveday in the works of a band inspired by artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, The
Amity Affliction and more. By 2013 the line up had been complete and BUILT UPON SAND were ready to perform live with original material being demoed.
Gaining powerful experience in the local live circuit and networking through booking and promoting their local area with festivals the band began to seek and research into touring and playing shows out of town. 2014 - present BUILT UPON SAND have excelled, placing their flag across the UK playing with bands such as "Dream On, Dreamer", "Silent Screams", "Martyr Defiled", "Napoleon", "Demoraliser", "Fathoms" and more.
With demo's prepared and live experience gained the introduction of "a local hero and a pure natural talent" as described by the band, Liam Gaughan a Newcastle based tutor/producer yet to work within the Metal genre became the key factor in the birth of BUILT UPON SAND's debut EP "Blind Justice". Gaughan's influence and eye for perfection has not only matured song writing abilities within the band but influenced members to improve their playing, even encouraging Adam to become a drum tutor outside of the band.
BUILT UPON SAND are the definition of ambition, the six piece Metalcore act dream to one day journey to the USA and around the world, with the belief that they can one day rise to the heights of prevous UK bands such as
Asking Alexandria and Bring Me The Horizon.
