KOCH Records Inks Hard Rock Band Straight Line Stitch Under New Raging Nation Records Imprint

NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ KOCH Records) - KOCH Records is pleased to announce the addition of Straight Line Stitch to its burgeoning hard rock roster. The band is signed under the newly created Raging Nation Records imprint.

Straight Line Stitch will record this fall for a 2008 release.

SLS is currently playing dates with 3 Inches of Blood and will make their NYC debut on September 13th at Fat Baby. The band has previously opened for the likes of Killswitch Engage, Slayer, Mastadon and many more. SLS also opened dates on the Jagermeister and Vans Warped Tours.

The band has already shot their first video for "Remission," which was directed by manager Dale "RAGE" Resteghini. Many more will follow.

Scott Givens, VP of Metal, says, "From the moment RAGE brought the band's EP in, I knew this band was a must-have. We are thrilled to add such an amazing act to our growing metal roster and working with our partners at Raging Nation to break them wide open."

Regarding the formation of the Raging Nation imprint, Senior Vice President of Marketing John Franck comments, "Having worked closely with Dale 'RAGE' Resteghini on numerous hit videos and seeing his ability to identify trends (both Rock and Urban), it was a natural step for us to create a Raging Nation Records imprint.
In addition to bringing new acts to the table, Raging Nation will serve as a creative hub under which we'll funnel any and all visuals pertaining to the music acts that Dale helps bring in - Straight Line Stitch is the perfect band to get it started with. Raging Nation will be responsible for the creation/execution of all visual aspects of the SLS project including photo shoots, videos, exclusive mobile/digital content, TV commercials, web design etc. This set-up creates an opportunity for SLS and Raging Nation to exercise a much larger degree of control over imaging/aesthetic while at the same time, giving KOCH Records the tools it needs to market the band.
