LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Rose Group) - Jamie King, the internationally acclaimed director/choreographer of music industry mega-stars, including Madonna, Prince, Shakira, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera - to name a few, announced today that he will direct the upcoming Spice Girls Reunion Tour, kicking off this December in Vancouver.

Jamie King, a multi Emmy Award and MTV Video Music Award nominee, is recognized globally for directing some of the most celebrated tours of our time, including Madonna's 2006 record-braking Confessions Tour (his third tour with Madonna, having previously directed her Re-Invention Tour and Drowned World Tour), Christina Aguilera's 2006 Back to Basics, Ricky Martin's 2007 Black and White and Asian superstar Rain's Rain's Back 2007 world tours.

'Jamie King was our first choice,' says Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller. 'He is one of the world's very best live show directors/producers & choreographers, having worked with all of the greats, including Madonna and Prince. He inspires great confidence in everyone around him. He is a terrific guy and the girls absolutely love him. Everyone has the same vision for this show, it will be a roller coaster of fun reflecting all the things that made the Spice Girls such a huge global Pop group.'

As an artist, King's body of work and collaborative efforts are unrivaled, having shaped the live performances of some of the world's greatest entertainers including Mariah Carey, Shakira, Pink and Britney Spears. In 2006, King also directed Madonna's hit music video Sorry. With the Spice Girls Reunion Tour, and upcoming tours slated for both Kanye West and Celine Dion, the world will again have the privilege of experiencing King's mind-blowing visual and performance masterpieces in cities across the globe.

'Collaborating with the Spice Girls presents one of those exceptional opportunities to create a truly iconic live performance,' said Jamie King. 'As a group, their dynamic is provocative, compelling and undeniably sexy, which truly drives my creative inspiration. Their reintroduction to the world will, without question, be an unforgettable event.'

In 2006, King earned significant acclaim from Variety. The publication selected Jamie King as one of the world's ten most influential people in the music industry, branding him the 'Jerry Bruckheimer of tent-pole music tours.'

Beyond his work with the world's premier entertainers, King serves as Nike's official creative consultant and global spokesperson for the Nike Dance Fitness line, and creator of the internationally successful Nike Rockstar Workout aerobic fitness series.

In June of 2007, Jamie King launched his Rock Your Body dance fitness book and DVD via publishing giant, Rodale, now available in stores nationwide.

Jamie King is represented by McDonald/Selznick & Associates, Creative Artists Agency and manager Daniel Sladek.
