Pop/R&B Artist Japollonia To Drop First Album In 2013
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Katrina Wan PR/ Silent Partner Entertainment) Following the footsteps of her idols TLC, Missy Elliott and Janet Jackson, Singer, Songwriter and Dancer Japollonia plans to drop her first album in 2013 under her management and production team, Silent Partner Entertainment. Coming off the success of her self-titled mix-tape, "Japollonia," which has reached Silver status with over 350,000 downloads between her blogsite (https://japollonianation.com) and datpiff.com (https://www.datpiff.com/Mila-J-Battlefield-America-Soundtrack-Mixtape-Vol-1-mixtape.352162.html), Japollonia's popularity and credibility in the world of Pop and R&B is taking flight. The music video to her single "Blinded," which is also featured on the mix-tape, has become an online sensation, receiving over 600,000 views on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/thisisjapollonia).

"I am so excited to launch my first album to the world," says Japollonia. "I'm happy my fans were able to get free music from me as a taste of what's to come! I have dreamt of this my entire life. I can't wait for my fans to hear what I have worked so hard to achieve."

Japollonia's soulful voice and mesmerizing beats with deep intense lyrics, which can be heard on tracks like "Drowning," have captured audiences. And as the music industry continues to evolve, Japollonia has taken the destiny of her music into her own hands, launching tracks on the web and creating a solid fan base in the process. Her intelligent use of social media has set trends, forcing record labels to take notice not only of her work but her loyal following as well.

Japollonia, whose real name is Jamila Chilombo, is a Los Angeles native who started rapping at the age of four. The Black, Japanese and Native American artist broke into the music industry at the tender age of nine after meeting the owner and CEO of The Ultimate Group, Chris Stokes. She also caught his attention during her appearance in Prince's "Diamonds and Pearls" video in 1991.

"Japollonia is one of the hottest female performers of this new millennium," says Stokes. "I've watched her grow over the years and it's great to see that her hard work and dedication are paying off."
