Nicole Chen recently broke into the international electronic dance music scene with the debut of her Top 40 official remix of Nicki Minaj's "Pound the Alarm" published under Cash Money Records Inc. In the first 24 hours after release, the track charted a whopping 124,000 plays and continues to receive massive global support. Her impressive performance caught the attention of a New York based music label, We Make Noise Records, Inc. who quickly signed Asia's hottest female model DJ.
Born in Singapore,
Nicole effortlessly made her way into show business. By the age of four she was already appearing in commercials and advertisements for
Pizza Hut, Milkmaid, and SingTel. In 2007 she vaulted into the international scene by taking the crown as Miss Earth Singapore. While training in Melbourne, she cultivated her passion and love for music and skillfully translated it to the decks. She started as a resident DJ at A971, a popular Japanese fusion themed nightspot, and has since spread her reach to the international shores of Japan, Hong Kong and Phuket. In
September 2011 she performed at the
Formula 1 (F1) Heritage Row party in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia.
Seemingly overnight,
