National Entertainer/Recording Artist Brooke Hogan Introduces New EP 'I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) National entertainer and recording artist, Brooke Hogan, is set to release her new studio project,
I WANNA BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND (Molly Dog Entertainment). Highlighting contributions from multi-talented Nashville music producers (Blake Bollinger, Drew Davis and Ira Dean), the five-song EP will be available via all digital retail outlets on September 4, 2015.

Brooke Hogan is probably most well known as the daughter of pro-wrestling legend Hulk Hogan; she established her celebrity notoriety as a young actress in the world famous reality TV show series, "Hogan Knows Best" (2005-07) and her own spin-off "Brooke Knows Best" (2008-09). Brooke's most significant talents extend far above becoming an international TV darling; she is a professionally trained piano player and dancer, a prolific songwriter, polished vocalist and extraordinary entertainer on stage and I WANNA BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND is an exemplary presentation of her impeccable talents.

Brooke radiates independent confidence and maturity throughout the entire collection; traditional fiddle runs, electric guitar trills and contemporary production complement her precise vocal and echoing lyric delivery. With thematic storylines and unwavering vocals, the EP plays like a movie soundtrack: "Fly Away" (written alongside Josh Osborne and Matt Ramsey) is an upbeat conversational self reflection and idealism to break away from the everyday; the impassioned ballad, "Hero," (a Brooke Hogan original) is a hopeful "save me plea" to a knight in shining armor, while "Avalanche" is picturesque of the chemistry of a fast falling love affair (Brooke Hogan/Blake Bollinger/Sam Tinnesz/Lisa Carver/ Jennifer Zuffinetti Denmark).
"A bona-fide resident of Music City, I've spent the last four years in Nashville writing and recording with the goal to produce music that is reflective of who I am as a music entertainer and how I've grown as a songwriter," Brooke introduced. "Writing alongside some of the most creative songwriters has been invaluable and embracing, and I feel like today's country music format is a perfect fit and a 'welcome home' for the type of music I am writing and recording today."

Brooke made introductions to the 2015 collection of music with the release of the single entitled "Girlfriend" in mid August [CDX Vol. 619/7-13-15/PlayMpe 7-13-15]. As a contemporary counter to "Check Yes Or No" (George Strait), the straightforward "play no games" track (co-written with Drew Davis/Erik Halbig) leaves no room for consideration; this "single lady" lays her "Sadie Hawkins" proposal on line with purposeful intent.
Brooke made her initial, and impressive, entry at radio with the hit single "Everything To Me," which reached No. 1 twice on the Top Single Sales chart in 2004. Under the direction of producer Scott Storch (Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, 50 Cent, Christina Aguilera), Brooke recorded her album UNDISCOVERED and released the track "About Us" (2006). The single streamed more than 2,500,000 times, while the corresponding music video topped at No. 1 with 750,000-plus plays and inviting 90 million viewers to MySpace.

Brooke has performed before thousands at various high-profile gigs including Radio Disney's "Jingle Jam" and on stage alongside Hillary Duff, Backstreet Boys,
Pussycat Dolls, Boyz II Men and Toby Keith. Brooke appeared for the first time at the 2015 CMA Music Festival where she lit up the Gildan® Hard Rock Café stage.
Brooke's EP, I WANNA BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND iTunes pre-sale will begin in mid-August.
