LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) - New music from Outkast, Shaggy, Lil' Romeo, and Solange highlights the Lava/Atlantic soundtrack to the Warner Bros. live-action "Scooby-Doo" motion picture. The set is due June 4, 10 days before the film's North American release. The first single from "Music from the Motion Picture 'Scooby-Doo'" will be "Land of a Million Drums" by Outkast featuring Killer Mike & Sleepy Brown. A video is being filmed, and the track will be sent to U.S. radio outlets May 13 for airplay consideration.

The disc will feature two versions of the "Scooby Doo" theme song: MxPx's "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" and Shaggy's twist, "Shaggy, Where Are You?" The Baha Men also chime in with "Scooby D." Father/son rapping team Lil' Romeo and Master P contribute "Lil' Romeo's B House" to the soundtrack, while Uncle Kracker and Busta Rhymes connect for "Freaks Come Out at Night."

The movie, based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series, will feature a computer-generated title character as part of a live-action group of amateur detectives played by Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, and Linda Cardellini.
