Downtown Music Publishing Names Jedd Katrancha EVP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Downtown Music Publishing (Downtown) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jedd Katrancha to Executive Vice President. The announcement was made by Downtown CEO Justin Kalifowitz in New York.

Joining Downtown in 2007, Katrancha has led Downtown's highly regarded creative services and sync licensing business from its inception. During his tenure, Katrancha and his team have developed integrated brand partnerships for Downtown's songwriters with the likes of Anheuser-Busch, Apple, Cadillac, Ford, Nike, Sprint, Verizon, Vitamin Water, and more. In his expanded role as Executive Vice President, Katrancha will now also be responsible for managing Downtown's creative strategy and operations.

"I've had the good fortune of working with Jedd for the better part of the past 15 years where I watched him redefine the role of a modern music publisher," said Kalifowitz. "The enormous impact Jedd has had on our songwriter clients and catalogs is only exceeded by the influence he has had in developing Downtown's culture and work ethic."

Prior to joining Downtown, Katrancha worked in creative services with Spirit Music Group and in the copyright department at EMI Music Publishing. He began his career as a music supervisor with the firm Supervision.
