Yamaha today introduced the SRT-700, a space-saving speaker base that rests under flat-screen TVs to provide full, lifelike sound to all viewing experiences, as well as Bluetooth connectivity to iPhone®, iPad® and Android™ devices for high-quality music streaming.
The SRT-700 is Yamaha's first compact-sized TV speaker base, designed for TVs of 42-inches and smaller, and offers the ideal audio accompaniment for rooms in which space is limited, such as bedrooms, dens and offices.
It features Yamaha's AIR SURROUND XTREME virtual surround sound technology that replicates the sound field of speakers placed around the room to immerse listeners and put them in the middle of the onscreen action. The two full-range speaker drivers, two subwoofers and two bass reflex ports built into its solid MDF wood cabinet ensure clear and spacious sound with deep, rich bass from this surprisingly small package.
