The dubstep trio blazes with tracks like "Well Oiled Machine," "No Room" and "MetROIDS." Joining TERRAVITA on "Motive Unnecessary" is Philadelphia newcomer Shannon Swain, who provides a powerful female vocal on this hard-hitting number. There are also instrumental versions of "No Room" and "This Time Its Personal." Every track on The Power of Fire is a dance floor burner.
TERRAVITA was formed in 2004 when Chris Barlow, Matt Simmers and Jon Spero joined forces after meeting in the drum & bass scene in New England. Their first releases were tracks for Maldini & Vegas' Bad Taste Recordings and
Simon Bassline Smith's Technique Recordings including the jump up hit "Adult Robot Kung Fu." From there, TERRAVITA released several tunes with Subsonik Sound as well as a remix of AK1200's rave anthem "
Drowning" that hit #4 on the Beatport Drum & Bass Charts.
In 2010, TERRAVITA released "Up In the Club" on Beta Recordings, which hit #4 on the Dubstep charts and #94 on the Overall charts on Beatport, while "Lockdown" broke the Top 10 on Beatport's dubstep charts. TERRAVITA released their debut EP in 2011 on Rottun featuring "Freak Out" and "
The Beat Goes On" which both hit #6 on Beatport's dubstep charts, while "Break The System" hit #2 on Beatport's dubstep charts. TERRAVITA did it again with a remix of Tremourz & J.Rabbit's "Sexy Party" which held down the #1 spot on Beatport's dnb charts for over a month. The group went on to release the Dirty Rottun ScoundrelsEP on Rottun Recordings. The EP was the #4 overall release on Beatport for several weeks and contained the hits "Lords & Ladies" and "Are You Ready For Me."
Now well into 2012, this year is shaping up to be big for TERRAVITA. The group has highly anticipated remixes coming out for
Steve Aoki ft Lil Jon & Chiddy Bang, Yelawolf, Zedd, Bare & Datsik and Bassnectar, and now they will unleash the heat with The Power of Fire plus a coveted spot on the FIREPOWER Tour.

About DATSIK and FIREPOWER RECORDS:
For DATSIK, FIREPOWER stands out as an extension of his revered and applauded musical persona. "I come from the dark, hip hop-influenced side of dubstep, and I'm trying to create a haven for that style," he explains. "There are all of these incredible young producers on the rise. I want to elevate them and promote them. If I'm playing a track in my set, I'm likely to sign it and release it. Those are my guidelines, and FIREPOWER's dance floor ammunition is my contribution to the EDM world." DATSIK's specialty is wrecking the dance floor. Barely out of high school, the Canadian artist and producer inked a deal with Excision's Rottun Recordings. He released a series of successful singles and EPs and rose to prominence as a leader of the underground dubstep scene in North America. After collaborating with the legendary Korn on The Path of Totality, he toured the U.S. with the group. Then, 2012 saw him release his proper full-length debut, Vitamin D, via Dim Mak Records and featuring the epic single "Evilution" [Featuring Jonathan Davis of Korn & Infected Mushroom]. However, founding a label has always been part of his plan. FIREPOWER began formally contributing to that landscape with the release of AFK & Hizzleguy's 10-song EP, Full Clip. Unveiled in February 2012 on iTunes and Beatport, the collection solidified FIREPOWER as an explosive force to be reckoned with. Shortly after, the second signing Getter dropped the razor sharp Psycho EP. Other acts that make up the roster include Barron, Rekoil, TERRAVITA, The Frim and DATSIK himself. With tours planned under the label banner and more music on the horizon, they're well on their way to domination. Either duck and cover or storm the gates with them.
