NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Triumph Entertainment) - "Commemorating Oscar-winning composer Paul Jabara's 60th birthday year, we launched a dedicated website (https://www.PaulJabara.com), a musical is in the works, and 'Paul Jabara's Greatest Hits (and Misses)' is available on iTunes," announced Claudette Jabara Hadad and Henry Hadad, managers of his catalog and keepers of the flame.

The Oscar and Grammy-winning "Last Dance" by Donna Summer; "Its Raining Men" by the Weather Girls and re-released by Geri Halliwell; "No More Tears/Enough is Enough" the duet by Donna Summer & Barbra Streisand, "The Main Event" by Barbra Streisand; and "Two Lovers" by Julio Iglesias are just a few of the iconic hits Jabara penned. Arguably one of the world's most prolific composers, he tragically died in 1992.

Robert Wachs, Producer of the musical, Paul Jabara's LAST DANCE, stated, "This celebrates the exuberant nightlife of the 70's. It has been a labor of love encompassing my enormous admiration and affection for Paul and a belief that his work should endure. A collaborative process with Paul's family, director Phil McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and others, we are now exploring theater venues in the United States and elsewhere."

"At the center of that world was one person who captured the essence of that soul-freeing celebrative atmosphere...his name was Paul Jabara," added Director Phil McKinley. "His music is filled with the exuberance, innocence, energy, fun, the pure joy and sometimes the pathos of a period in history when everyone rebelled against the pressure cooker environment and unleashed their emotions in the bold, brash, sexually-charged setting of the dance floors of New York, like Studio 54. Paul Jabara's LAST DANCE is a musically charged roller coaster ride lit by the sparkle of a giant mirror ball." McKinley is currently directing a new Broadway musical, NERDS, and the 50th anniversary concert version of Music Man.

Robert Wachs continued, "There is a great secret in Paul Jabara's LAST DANCE. He composed an anthem for the fight against AIDS. A little known fact is that Paul founded the red ribbon campaign, setting a precedent now utilized for many causes. The never released song is called 'WE'RE GONNA WIN' and it is absolutely stirring! People will hear this song for the first time in our show."
