SALT LAKE CITY (Osmonds.com) - Olive Osmond, matriarch of the toothy, clean-cut, singing Mormon family, suffered a stroke at her St. George home and was taken to a hospital. Olive Osmond, 76, was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George on Tuesday and then flown to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. All nine of her children visited her, said hospital spokesman Anton Garrity. Donny Osmond canceled a concert in Phoenix on Tuesday to visit his mother. She was in stable condition Wednesday. Garrity said doctors have not discovered any permanent damage from the stroke. Some of Olive Osmond's children performed as the Osmond Brothers, a teen singing sensation that produced 34 gold and platinum records in the 1960s and '70s. Donny and Marie Osmond have had success both individually and as a duo with their '70s variety show, ``Donny and Marie,'' and their more recent daily TV talk show. Some of the Osmond Brothers perform more than 300 shows a year in their own theater in Branson, Mo
