Starset First Single "My Demons" Is The Longest Running Chart Climber Ever!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Razor & Tie) Starset's first single, "My Demons" is now in the Top 5 at Mainstream Rock Radio and has been on the Billboard chart for a record-setting 41 weeks. This marks the longest chart run of the year at the format and the longest chart climb to the Top 5 for any artist since the launch of the chart in 1981.

Starset's debut album Transmissions was released this summer and debuted at #50 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart marking one of the highest chart debuts from a new rock band this year. This fall the band will hit the road first with Lacuna Coil and followed by a tour with In This Moment (tour dates below). Starset's Transmissions is available here on iTunes (https://georiot.co/STARSET) and Starset.merchnow.com. The album will be released in the UK and Europe this November.

Razor & Tie continues to have success at radio with two back to back #1 Rock Radio hits this year from The Pretty Reckless. The label has had four #1 Rock Radio hits since 2012 with songs from The Pretty Reckless, All That Remains, and P.O.D. Razor & Tie also has songs on the charts from KYNG and Nonpoint and will soon return with music from All That Remains as well as introduce music from the new band Sons of Texas.

Razor & Tie Senior Vice President of Radio Promotions, Kurt Steffek, comments, "The Starset project has been one of those true labor of love records. It's had a phenomenal run on the charts fueled by continually great research and track sales. Coupled with that, the band's unique live shows and interesting story, they create new fans everywhere they go."

About Starset
Starset is a rock band from Columbus, Ohio formed and led by Dustin Bates. A singer, songwriter and accomplished musician, Bates also boasts some serious scientific credentials. A PhD candidate in electrical engineering from Ohio University, he has done research for the U.S. Air Force and taught at the International Space University. In 2013 Dustin formed Starset after being contacted by an organization called The Starset Society and its President, Dr. Aston Wise. Bates was asked if he was interested in forming a band to promote the organization's message. At its core, the message is a warning that involves a scientific discovery that is currently being controlled and manipulated by an elite few. Transmissions was produced by Rob Graves (All That Remains, Red). Read more about Starset and The Starset Society here:
