2011 CRB-country Aircheck Awards Presented At CRS New Faces Of Country Music Show
Nashville, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ AristoMedia) The second annual CRB-Country Aircheck Awards were presented Friday night, March 4, during the CRS New Faces of Country Music Show at Country Radio Seminar 2011.

CRB President Mike Culotta co-presented the awards with Country Aircheck's Lon Helton in between performances at the New Faces show inside the Nashville Convention Center.

Radio awards were divided into four markets: Major (1-25), Large (26-50), Medium (51-100) and Small (101+). Awards for each market recognized outstanding achievement in the Station, General Manager, Program Director, Music Director and Air Personality categories. There was also one National Personality award presented.

Record Label awards included a Platinum award (given to a label with an affiliated distribution company), a Gold award (given to a label with external distribution), and one award each in the VP/Promotion, Director/National Promotion, Independent Promoter and Regional Promoter categories. Additionally, a discretionary New Face of Country award was given to an emerging professional who has made a specific impact in the Country radio or Country music industry in the previous 12 months.
