NEW YORK (Billboard) - Teen pop sensation Aaron Carter - the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter - will headline the 2001 version of the Bogart Backstage: On Tour for a Cure family fundraiser. Scheduled to take place Nov. 11 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., proceeds from the event will benefit the TJ Martell Foundation's Neil Bogart Memorial Fund, which is heavily supported by the music industry. In addition, the event will honor Recording Industry Association of America president-CEO Hilary Rosen with the Children's Choice Award. Carter - who is in the midst of a U.S. tour supported by A*Teens and his sister, singer Leslie Carter - will see his next album, "Oh Aaron," released Aug. 7 by Jive.
