After Seven Years, Dead Celebrity Status Returns With Their Highly Anticipated Follow-Up Album
TORONTO, CANADA (Top40 Charts/ 6.8.2 Records) Fresh off the Free the Kings Tour with Kottonmouth Kings and XClan, Canadian hip-hop group, Dead Celebrity Status returns with their most anticipated and highly ambitious follow-up album, The Throwaway Kids , available August 6, 2013.

After a seven-year hiatus, founding members, Yas Taalat and Bobby McIntosh have returned with their newest and highly ambitious album, The Throwaway Kids, featuring collaborative efforts from such notable musicians as Bea, D- Sisive, Mag-T and Ellie Lawson.

"When we released our first album, it was what the title said, Blood Music - music is blood, blood is oxygen - music is our bloodline," Taalat said. "With Throwaway Kids , it means just that. Throwaway kids are everything that goes against the norms. We are the overlooked, the forgotten, the misunderstood and the neglected. We are for the outcasts, the punks, the rebels, the bullied and the subcultures - we are all things socially conscious."

Their first video single for The Throwaway Kids is available on the YouTube channel, DC Status as of July 30, 2013. The Throwaway Kids will be available for sale on iTunes and Amazon, as well as at 682records.com and deadcelebritystatus.com on August 6, 2013.

Dead Celebrity Status is the combined efforts of Yas Taalat and Bobby McIntosh, former members of the hip hop band Project Wyze. The group has collaborated with such artists as Joss Stone, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins, Bif Naked, Twiggy Ramirez, Limore Twena and DJ Lethal.
