Neil Diamond Tribute - Fri, May 1
San Francisco's Super Diamond has become one of the most popular live shows at major nightclubs, theaters, ballrooms and public events throughout the United States. Super Diamond front man "the surreal Neil," Randy Cordeiro, astonishes audiences with his live interpretation of the "real Neil." Randy created the charismatic character when he discovered he had the uncanny ability to capture not only Neil Diamond's voice, but also his mannerisms and performance style. Super Diamond will bring their glittering, smoke-filled show to the stage at Brooklyn Bowl to perform Neil's power ballads and up-tempo hits with unrestrained enthusiasm (show: 8:00pm, admission: $20).
Fishbone + Easy Star
All Stars - Sat, May 2
Combining equal parts deep funk, high-energy punk, and frantic ska, the Los Angeles-based Fishbone was one of the most distinctive and eclectic alternative rock bands of the late 80s. With their hyperactive, self-conscious diversity, goofy sense of humor, and sharp social commentary, the group gained a sizable cult following during the late 80s. Now in their 25th year of composing, creating, recording, releasing and performing original music together, the band is returning to the spotlight, fueled by their critically acclaimed full-length feature documentary, 'Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone.' Narrated by Laurence Fishburne, the film earned LA Weekly's Critic's Choice Award at the Los Angeles Film Fest in 2010, and has been called "effortlessly entertaining" (Variety) and "brilliant and groundbreaking" (Pop Matters). The seven-piece band will hit the stage at Brooklyn Bowl to perform music off their most recent project, 'Intrinsically Intertwined' (2014) (show: 8:00pm, admission: $22).

Everyone Orchestra - Fri, May 8
Everyone Orchestra's conductor, Matt Butler, has been leading a rotating cast of accredited musicians through full-length shows that are entirely improvised since 2001. In 2012, Butler gathered particularly well-known musicians from bands like Phish, Moe, and others, to record Everyone Orchestra's first studio album, 'Brooklyn Sessions,' which was still largely improvised. "The experience of playing with different musicians, improvising every night, and getting the crowd involved in ways that they can't be at a regular show has provided an unparalleled live music experience," said Butler (show: 8:00pm, admission: $17).

The Skatalites - Sat, May 9
Officially formed in 1964 after playing in studios together in Kingston, The Skatalites came together to perform live shows all over the island as the premiere ska band from Jamaica. In addition to the live shows, they have served as the backing band for iconic reggae acts such as Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, and Toots and The Maytals. Featuring original alto sax man Lester "Ska" Sterling and vocalist Doreen Shaffer, along with the current lineup of outstanding musicians they have chosen to accompany them, the band will proudly bring the music of Jamaican Ska to Brooklyn Bowl (show: 9:00pm, admission: $15).

Yelawolf - Tue, May 12
Yelawolf, born Michael Wayne Atha, is an
Alabama based rapper who signed with Eminem's Shady Records in 2011. His fast-paced flow enticed listeners, mixing in hints of
Twista and Andre 3000 with a signature twang of his own. His debut album 'Radioactive,' which featured guest spots from Eminem, Kid Rock, and Diplo, was followed by a rap-rock collaborative EP with blink-182 drummer
Travis Barker.
Yelawolf will hit the stage at Brooklyn Bowl to perform songs from his most recent effort, 2015's all-analog 'Love Story' (show: 9:00pm, admission: $17-99).

New Mastersounds - Thu-Sat, May 14-16
Four piece jazz union and funk band The New Mastersounds formed in Leeds UK in 1999, playing as the resident live band at a hip dance club every Friday and Saturday night for nearly two years. After a rough 8-track recording of an early rehearsal got into the hands of some London DJs, invitations to play club gigs in London flooded in, and the band established a reputation around UK and
Europe as forerunners of the deep funk revival scene. In 2004, the band was invited to
Chicago to open for the Greyboy
All Stars at the House of Blues - which kicked off their live career in the US which continues to the present day on their current tour in support of 2014's album, 'Therapy' (shows: 8:00pm, admission: $15-17).

Allen Stone - Tue, Apr 26
The evolution of "pitch-perfect powerhouse" (USA Today) Allen Stone has taken him from a small town near Spokane, WA - where he sang in his father's church as a boy - to concert stages around the world. With a sound reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, Stone is a self-described "hippie with soul." His self-titled 2011 album rocketed to the Top 10 of Billboard's Heatseekers chart for fast-emerging artists and he was later voted one of mtvU's "Freshman 5" and named a VH1' "You Oughta Know" artist. Having opened for acts like
Al Green and Dave Matthews, Stone will hit the stage at Brooklyn Bowl to perform songs from his upcoming album 'Radius' (May 26th, Capitol) (show: 9:00pm, admission: $25).

Gene Ween Does
Billy Joel - Thu and Sun, May 28 and 31
Aaron Freeman, aka Gene Ween, will hit the stage at Brooklyn Bowl for "Gene Ween Does Billy Joel" - two nights of paying tribute to "the man from Oyster Bay." Backed by a 7 piece band of fellow Joelophiles, Gene will tear through Joel's biggest hits. "I love Billy Joel, so I had this idea to do a complete cover band," Ween told Fly Magazine. "I've been listening to
Billy Joel all my life, but I've started to study how he sings. He is a really intense singer, so I'm gonna be working on singing with the power and veracity of Billy Joel" (shows: 8:00pm, admission: $15-18).

theNEWDEAL - Fri-Sat, May 29-30
theNEWDEAL first began in Toronto in 1999, and came up through the American Jam scene in the decade that followed. Since their beginning, it has been hard to categorize theNEWDEAL, which shows in the wide range of artists that they have played with - from
Herbie Hancock to the
Roots and Moby to Fatboy Slim. A long-time staple of the Jam scene, theNEWDEAL's improvisational interpretation of electro house, trance, breakbeat and drum & bass has brought traditionally electronic music to the live music scene, adding a "human element" and vibrance to computer generated sounds (shows: 12:00am, admission: $20).
