A teleconferenced 'SxSW Boot Camp' held in five cities February 9 attracted over 55 band members and music professionals--who will be invading the US in a month's time at South by Southwest in Austin Texas March 16-20--to hear five speakers from Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC and Sydney give them the battle plan and networking strategies for success at this prestigious event. AUSTRADE offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane & Perth conducted phone links with a key US satellite radio programmer in DC, NY based visa expert, expat Aussie label owner in LA as well as an LA based music attorney to give participants five weeks advance preparedness training for SxSW's invasion.
