Brentwood, TN (Sparrow Records) - EMI CMG artists Avalon, Steven Curtis Chapman, David Crowder*Band, Nichole Nordeman, and Chris Tomlin are among the acts scheduled to perform at the 2006 GMA Music in the Rockies concert series July 30 through August 4 in Estes Park, Colorado.

More than just a family-friendly concert series in a beautiful resort location, Music in the Rockies also offers classes and talent competitions for aspiring songwriters and artists that emphasize spiritual as well as musical growth. Performers such as Michael W. Smith, Stacie Orrico, and Matthew West have cited their first visits to the annual event as a turning point in their own careers.

Among the concert highlights at this year's GMA Music in the Rockies will be Passion Worship Night (Sunday, July 30) featuring 2006 Dove Award-winning artist-worshipers Chris Tomlin and David Crowder*Band, plus Passion founder Louie Giglio. Also, Steven Curtis Chapman will headline a concert on Wednesday, August 2, presented by his charitable adoption organization Shaohannah's Hope.
