Britney Vs. Christina

NEW YORK (NY Daily News) - The feud between pop stars Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera may be hotter then ever. The two divas have recently bashed one another at every chance they get. This time the New York Daily News published comments today from Britney Spears who recalled an incident in a club where Christina Aguilera came up to her and tried kissing her.

In the December issue of Blender magazine, Aguilera said of Spears, "she seemed very distant, even during rehearsals. Every time I tried to start a conversation with her - well, let's just say she seemed nervous the whole time... She seems to me like a lost little girl, someone who desperately needs guidance."

Britney Spears, who jump started her career by the now infamous make out session on stage with Madonna, has made X-Tina heated with her recent press and magazine cover shoots after the incident that revived her career. Aguilera also kissed Madonna but didn�t receive any attention for it and likely costing her a little money and a lot of press coverage, something that is crucial with today�s artists.

Spears responds in the magazine's January issue, "I can't believe Christina said that about me." Britney said that Aguilera told her she wasn�t being "real" with her. Then she relates a story about seeing Aguilera, her former friend and fellow Mouseketeer, for the first time in two years: "She comes up to me in a club in front of all these people and tries to put her tongue down my throat!
I say, 'It's good to see you,' and she goes, 'Well, you're not being real with me.' I was like, 'Well, Christina, what's your definition of real? Going up to girls and kissing them after you haven't seen them for two years?'
So, Christina is a "lost girl"? Mouskeeters and 2004 will bring us another 'pop battle'!
