Boca Raton, FL (Top40 Charts/ Chloe Dolandis Official Website) Jazz/pop/soul singer
Chloe Dolandis is pleased to announce that the much anticipated release of her debut album, Bring Back The Fever will be celebrated on Thursday, April 21, 2011, 7:00 p.m. at ZED451 in Mizner Park (Boca Raton). The civic-minded Dolandis has given the soiree a dual purpose; it will also serve as a fundraiser for Dress for Success Palm Beaches. The album will be available on iTunes and Amazon on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
The event - free and open to the public - will feature live performances, a silent auction to benefit Dress for Success and an array of delectable appetizers and libations generously offered at happy hour prices by ZED451. The restaurant is also providing free valet parking with validation.
The 12 original songs on Bring Back The Fever, penned by Dolandis and her songwriting team, are modern throwbacks, influenced by Dolandis' diverse musical background: the big bands of the '40s, jazz of the '50s, rock of the '60s and soul and R&B of the '70s. The album, produced and mixed by the Grammy award winning Zach Ziskin, also features some of South Florida's most gifted musicians including Fernando Perdomo and Derek Cintron. The CD will be for sale on site the night of the event.
"I have to say, writing, recording and the whole studio process have been the most gratifying experiences. I am so excited to share the final product with the world," said a beaming Dolandis.
The first single from the album, New Suit, was the catalyst for the partnership with Dress for Success.
"It just seemed like a natural fit," offered Dolandis. "A major component of Dress for Success is providing disadvantaged women with proper attire - like new or gently used suits - as part of the preparation for job interviews," she pointed out. "We are inviting guests the night of the event to help 'suit' the women by donating new or slightly used black career purses and shoes."
In addition to the donations, a silent auction will be held with all proceeds benefiting the charity. Items include jewelry from Swarovski, dinner for four at ZED451 in the Fire Room with a champagne toast in the Wine Room and much more.
