New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The 2015 Bristol Proms will close on August 1st with a unique concert. Described as "An evening of surround-sound polyphony" the night features new compositions from several composers all on the subject of hope, and performed by The Erebus Ensemble - a 40-piece choral ensemble. Murray's piece, commissioned by Tom Morris (producer of War Horse) is called "
The Gate" and is dedicated to the families of the victims of the Hillsborough disaster.

Prom 59 will be the LIFE STORY Prom, featuring Murray's music to the BBC One series from Sir
David Attenborough. The soundtrack will take center-stage with this performance by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Sir
David introduces sequences from the series played on big screens and is joined by members of the production team, who offer insights into the making of this stunning natural history series
balletLORENT - October
In 2012 Gold was commissioned by the balletLORENT to write the music for their magical retelling of Rapunzel, which was performed at Sadler's Wells Theatre and named "Performance of the Year" at The Journal Culture Awards. He has been commissioned a second time for a new performance of Snow White, in collaboration with featuring the choreographer Liv Lorent the UK's Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
DOCTOR WHO SYMPHONIC SPECTACULAR - October 7th (NY Comic Con)
For the first time in the US, the Doctor will land at his adopted home city of New York, with performances at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY during New York Comic Con. The night showcases the music of Gold, who has been the composer for the series since its re-launch in 2005, and will feature well over 100 musicians, singers, and monsters live on stage. Michelle
Gomez (Missy, the latest incarnation of the Doctor's arch-nemesis the Master) will host the performance.
