New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bongo Boy's recording artist ANGELES will be dropping a new single on
September 4th. The single titled GOD, COUNTRY and KING will introduce the band's fans worldwide to the new band's lead singer
Danny Ferreira.
GOD, COUNTRY and KING music written by the founder of ANGELES Dale Lylte and lyrics written by Greg Lewis. Dale shared with the band's record label earlier this month his excitement about the new single: "We finally found THE singer for the band that can sing this song as it was meant to be sung. Wow I still get goosebumps when I hear this new single".

Danny Ferreira: Born in a musical orientated family in Puerto Rico,
Danny Ferreira followed his Dad's footsteps into music. In 1982
Danny joined the U.S. Army to serve our country. We Thank you Danny! Danny's first live gig performance was at the famous East Coast Satellite Lounge, New Jersey. The Satellite Lounge was located at 79 Wrightstown-Cookstown Road in Cookstown, and was once known as the largest bar in New Jersey. A major venue for both regional and nationally known rock acts from the 1960s through the 1990s.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Kiss, Chuck Berry, Ben E. King, The Platters, Jay & The Americans, Sly & The Family Stone, Steppenwolf,
Molly Hatchet, and The Young Rascals were just a few of the bands that performed at this club. Located on the outskirts of the Fort Dix Army and McGuire Air Force bases, the Satellite could accommodate as many as 2,000 people, and was well known for offering live music well into the wee hours of the morning.
Danny provided Backup Vocals and Rhythm Guitar for a local band called RAGG DOLLS when he was stationed at Fort Dix, NJ. Later
Danny was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany where
Danny joined a local band called ONYX where
Danny played Bass and Backup Vocals on famous covers songs.
When
Danny was discharged from the military he pursued his music career as a Singer and landed in Hollywood performing with local bands on Sunset Blvd.
Danny performed at the Roxy, Whiskey GoGo, Trouboudour, FM Stations. The bands were mostly Punk and Glam Rock. He also performed as the Lead Singer for the band called MIRAGE from Argentina; their first album was released on DelFi Records.
Danny also filled the Rock shoes for the local Los Angeles Latin Rock band LEY DE HIELO as their Lead Singer and released two albums with them.
Danny went on as a solo artist with a more Pop music style and toured with his own band through Mexico and US.
Now
Danny was been settled in San Antonio,
Texas where he accepted the invitation of the band ANGELES to record their new single GOD, COUNTRY and KING.
