Dee Jay Silver Announces New Tour Dates; Kicking Off This Weekend In Las Vegas At Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Groundbreaking DJ/remixer/producer DEE JAY SILVER just wrapped up touring all summer long with country superstar Brad Paisley, drawing a lot of attention for their battles each night, turntables vs. guitar. He's now gearing up for "The Country Club Tour with Dee Jay Silver," a new run of headlining performances which kick off this weekend in Las Vegas where he'll perform all three days at the inaugural Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival, sharing a stage with headliners Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean. Through the end of the year, SILVER will make multiple stops in Nevada, Kentucky, Missouri, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Arizona and Illinois. All confirmed dates are listed below and more are still being added. Visit www.DeeJaySilver.com for ticket links.

"The Country Club Tour is hitting some of my favorite places in the world like Joe's Bar in Chicago, Whiskey Row in Scottsdale, The Bank in Vegas and so many more," SILVER exclaims. "And I'm really looking forward to getting the party going at the UK football games and pre-races at Talladega Superspeedway and Texas Motor Speedway. It's gonna be awesome!"

SILVER-the first DJ signed to a major Nashville record deal, RCA Nashville-has been tapped as the University of Kentucky football team's official DJ, warming up the crowds before the home games. Last year SILVER held the same title for the NFL's Tennessee Titans. The sports fan will also perform this Fall at two iconic race car speedways: Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, AL and the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. He will also participate in Nashville radio station The Big 98 WSIX's "Battle of the Bones" Halloween party along with Jake Owen, Gary Allan, Big & Rich, and so many more. Tickets are on sale now here.

The non-stop DJ will do all this while keeping up with his nationally syndicated country radio show called "The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver." Each week, the show features up-tempo mixes and mash-ups of hits from country music's biggest stars and newcomers, with an infusion of unique rhythms and occasional tracks from other genres. Over 40 markets including some of the leading country radio stations across America are on board. The show takes over the airwaves on Saturday nights generally from 7pm-12am. SILVER recently spoke with Billboard.com about his new radio show; check out that interview here.

What's being said about DEE JAY SILVER:
"At this club, he treated country like any other genre — mixing it seamlessly with mainstream hip-hop and dance hits. Modern country, with its heavy bass thump and rapped verses, fits neatly into this paradigm, but he also displayed how older songs, like 'Boot Scootin' Boogie' by Brooks & Dunn and Garth Brooks's 'Friends in Low Places,' were just as friendly to the dance floor. This is mainstream country now — nightclubs, spring break, college parties, city life." - Jon Caramanica, NEW YORK TIMES, 5/25/14

"After years of playing club residencies, making unofficial SoundCloud mixtapes and warming up arena crowds for Jason Aldean, Dee Jay Silver became the first mash-up DJ to sign to a major country label, in his case, Sony Nashville, which put out his debut EP. It includes a track featuring Alabama, Southern rap group Nappy Roots and a crisp, programmed loop — a combo that seems perfectly natural to the first generation and a half of country fans who grew up with hip-hop as an integral part of their musical worlds." - Jewly Hight, ROLLING STONE COUNTRY, 6/10/14

"From this point forward, Dee Jay Silver will be lauded as a father figure to all future country music DJs. Generations of electronic patriarchy aside, he lays claim to a lot of firsts in the industry: the first to ever play the Academy of Country Music Awards, to be signed to a major Nashville label (Sony Music Nashville), and to release an EP (2013's Country Club…this spiky-haired craftsman is the highlight of festivals worldwide, the official DJ for the Tennessee Titans, a mainstay on Aldean's tour, and a pioneer for all his beat-loving, boot-stomping posterity." - Valerie Hammond, NASHVILLE LIFESTYLES (Music Issue), January 2014
