Getting to the Festival

Please note that Ferry passes will NOT be sold at the Ferry terminal in Manhattan. They CAN be purchased at the Info Booth and Box Office at the festival grounds on Randall's Island during the festival. Tickets are $10 - One way, any way, any day.

The Shuttle Bus starts running at 9am each day from the Manhattan Departure point (East 124th St in Manhattan between Madison and Park Avenues). If you'd like to take the Shuttle Bus but don't have a Shuttle Bus pass, Shuttle Bus tickets will be sold at the Shuttle Bus departure point in Manhattan, and also at the Info Booth and Box Office at the festival grounds on Randall's Island during the festival. Tickets are $5 - One way, any way, any day.

Take the 4/5/6 or Metro-North Railroad to 125th St, then take the X80 express Bus on Lexington Ave between 126 and 125 Sts, which runs nonstop to Randall's Island. A $5.50 round-trip fare is collected going to Randall's Island. If you transfer from the subway or bus with your Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard, only $3.25 is deducted. If you are paying with cash, you must have exact change in coins - no paper money is accepted on the buses. The 7-Day Express Bus Plus is the only Unlimited Ride MetroCard accepted on the X80. Local Bus Weekly or Monthly passes not accepted. For more information, visit www.mta.info.

Please do NOT plan on riding the MTA bus home when leaving Electric Zoo unless you rode it in to the festival and paid your fare in Manhattan. Fare evasion is a crime and will not be tolerated.

You can walk across the footbridge from E. 103rd St. in Manhattan onto Randall's Island Park during summer daylight hours (6am - 9pm). It takes about 20-25 minutes to walk from the Manhattan side of the footbridge to the festival entrance. Pedestrians can also walk across the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge from Manhattan (about 15 minutes), Queens (about 30 minutes), or the Bronx (about 15 minutes).

BICYCLISTS PLEASE NOTE: Bikes are NOT allowed on the ferry or buses. Bike parking is South of the RFK Bridge Pedestrian Walkway, near the Ferry Landing on Randall's Island. Follow signs from the main festival entrance.

Parking on Randall's Island will be very limited - if you plan on driving, you should purchase a parking pass with your festival pass. There will be a limited number of parking passes available for purchase on the days of the festival, at Randall's Island. If you are purchasing more than 1 festival pass, remember that you only need 1 parking pass per vehicle - you do not need a parking pass for each person in your vehicle.
