New York, NY (Top40 Charts) There is a new release from Gregory Suarez that deserves a listen. The song, titled "Around the World", is narrated by someone who had just reunited with a former romantic companion. The narrator hopes that this time, his companion does not leave him.

I found an interesting choice of words in the chorus. Instead of singing that he feels happy, he sings "I don't feel lonely/I don't feel down". This connotation implies to the listener that he used to have feelings of loneliness, and that his companion is what changes such feelings. This is further demonstrated when he sings: "Come back to stay darling/And don't leave again". Melodically, the song is calm and relaxing. It is always nice to hear a song where the narrator's spirits have been lifted, and Gregory Suarez does a great job at combining his voice with the instrumentation.

While on the topic of the instrumentation, one part that stands out is the use of saxophone. In the instance of this song, the saxophone and its melody are used to convey a sense of happiness, even if the narrator doesn't explicitly say that he's happy. The usage of saxophone solos makes this song memorable.
