Indie Artist Dru Ross Breaks At Radio
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New recording artist DRU ROSS is finding a world of believers for his debut single "Love Simulation" (Ross Records). This week he picked up some rather impressive markets including San Francisco (market #4), Las Vegas, Corpus Christi, Spokane and Atlantic City. The single serviced to radio through Play MPE and All Access ranks #18* at FMQB and is already Top 5 at New Music Weekly & National Radio Hits. "Programmers really love the new single and although it's rather difficult competing with major label artists, Dru is passing a good many top named talent and just hit Top100 (#99*) of the Top40 Mediabase radio chart," notes music veteran Larry Weir who runs the radio campaign for the project via his Heartland Entertainment Group.

The Hip-Hop "rocker" from the small town of Goldendale, Washington is also overwhelmed by the recent success. "I'm so thrilled yet humbled to see the support from radio for my original music," said Dru who now resides in the Los Angeles area. An extended dance mix of the single is also breaking from New York to San Francisco and on the Starfleet Dance Pool charts out of Charlotte, NC where it ranks high on both their Urban Dance and Hip-Hop charts with over a half a million likes. This week the dance track also went to #1* on Rickett's Record Pool (Saddle Brook, NJ).

Dru's recent "live performance" debut at the world famous Whisky A Go-Go received critical acclaim and highlights from that are featured in Music Connection Magazine's September issue, New Music Weekly's Fall Music Preview and a front page headline feature at National Radio Hits this week. Social media is also helping to propel the single and is expected to get a huge boost with the release of a YouTube video now in production. There is a live tour in the works featuring a "free concert series" at clubs and small venues throughout the US in support of the track and a five song EP that is scheduled for release in mid-September.
