Indoor Pets Announce Debut Album 'Be Content'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hailing from the UK, Indoor Pets create guttural rock music to which massive crowds of fans overseas unabashedly dance to at their raucous live shows. Today, the band has announced their debut album, Be Content, to be released March 8, 2019 on Wichita Recordings. They have also unleashed infectious new album single "Being Strange" which had a "First Play" premiere by Phil Taggart on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Annie Mac.

Be Content is seemingly a bottomless pool of great tunes. Familiar feelings of not fitting in or refusing to play the hand life has dealt are delivered with self-deprecating wit and Glass' trademark use of double-bluffing word play. Think Rivers Cuomo and a pre-sandpit Brian Wilson bunking off school to play records and snigger at the cool kids. They're smart, life-affirming and all contained within a thumping primary-coloured pop wallop.

Indoor Pets are hands-on in every aspect of their work, from making the artwork to organizing their own tours, producing music, building their own stage monitoring system and even running their own finances (Simpson: "if anyone wants to spend any money they have to ask me"). It's a fiercely DIY ethic born less from punk principle as it was from necessity. "It was either do it yourself or don't have it done," notes Glass, "and we decided to do it ourselves."

Indoor Pets are Jamie Glass (vocals & guitar), Ollie Nunn (bass), James Simpson (guitar & backing vocals) & Rob Simpson (drums & backing vocals). The band continue to tour extensively across Europe and will bring their raucous show to the US for the first time early next year. They currently have shows planned in NYC & LA with more on the horizon.

Co-produced by the band's guitarist, James Simpson and Kristofer Harris and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer (Weezer, Ash, Yak, Parquet Courts), the tracklisting of the 14-track album is:

1. Hi
2. Teriyaki
3. Thick
4. Spill (My Guts)
5. Pro Procrastinator
6. Couch
7. Heavy Thoughts
8. The Mapping Of Dandruff
9. Being Strange
10. Mean Heart
11. Good Enough
12. Barbiturates
13. Cutie Pie, I'm Bloated
14. My Amnesiac
