BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner bros. Records) - Warner Bros. Records will rock Park City, Utah, home of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, when ten of the label's hottest headlining and emerging artists, as well as special guests to be announced, will perform at a very special live-music event titled "Where
Music Meets Film: Live from The ZonePerfect Bar" celebrating the enduring connection between music and film.
Josh Groban, Michelle Branch, Eisley, Tyler Hilton, Missy Higgins, MoZella, Jack's Mannequin, Jeremy Lister, Melee, The Honorary Title, and other artists to be confirmed will each perform an intimate, "all-natural" acoustic set during the three nights of the event, which takes place from Jan. 24-26 on ZonePerfect's main stage located at 427 Main Street within the Harry O's entertainment complex. This invitation-only, private event is hosted by title sponsor ZonePerfect All-Natural Nutrition Bars, an official sustaining sponsor of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
Fuse, the national music television network, will cover the connection between music and film and feature many performances from the live music event in a one-hour TV special titled, "Where Music Meets Film: Live from The ZonePerfect Bar" which will air on Fuse on Feb. 4, 2008 at 7 p.m. ET. Exclusive behind-the-scenes content will also be available on www.fuse.tv on Jan. 22.
As the online partner of "Where Music Meets Film: Live from The ZonePerfect Bar," MySpace has created a custom community, "Live From Park City" (www.myspace.com/livefromparkcity), where music fans around the world can check out featured videos, performances, and interviews with several of the artists including Josh Groban, Michelle Branch, Tyler Hilton and others. With 110 million active monthly users worldwide, MySpace's "Live From Park City" profile, which will go live in early January, will feature videos and photo galleries of the performing artists in advance of the event. This community will serve as the premier online hub and destination for these very special performances from "Where Music Meets Film: Live from The ZonePerfect Bar."
And finally, Fender Musical Instruments Corp. will provide product support to performing and attending artists, in addition to donating custom Fender instruments that will be autographed and auctioned to benefit a number of charities.
