Minneapolis, MN (K102 Radio) -— Today�s Country & All-Time Favorites K102 / KEEY-FM a Clear Channel radio station partnered with Country Music stars Montgomery Gentry for a special concert event at the Myth Nightclub on Thursday, November 2, 2006 to benefit The Diabetes Institute for Immunology and Transplantation at University of Minnesota (https://www.diabetesinstitute.org/.)

The event raised $29,440.00 through tickets sales and large corporate sponsors including Denny Hecker�s Auto Connection. “We are pleased to sponsor such a great event for this worthy cause.” said Denny Hecker, President of Denny Hecker�s Auto Connection.

“The Myth was the perfect place for this event-- close up and personal with Montgomery Gentry, and they hit it out of the park.” said Gregg Swedberg, Operations Manager of Clear Channel Radio in Minneapolis . “Eddie and Troy are long-time friends with our K102 family, and it's because of our great family of listeners that we were able to help this important cause. Country listeners are the best listeners!”

"That was an incredible night. The Myth was an awesome club, the place was packed, and we all helped an important cause." said Eddie Montgomery. Troy Gentry added, "We can't thank everyone enough for supporting Montgomery Gentry and the Diabetes Institute, and we can't wait to come back.”
