Kings Of Leon: BBC Radio 1 Set For Massive Month Of Live Music In October

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Sony Music Entertainment UK) - BBC Radio 1 presents... Kings of Leon Night on Thursday 28th October starts at 7pm with Zane Lowe talking to the band ahead of a one hour gig at 8pm performed exclusively for Radio 1. Recorded from a secret location the show will include a selection of the southern rockers biggest hits plus the unveiling of brand new material.

Straight after the performance, the evening continues with several shows taking listeners on an audio journey to how Kings of Leon became one of the biggest rock groups in the world. BBC Radio 1's Stories at 9pm strips back the rumours and gossip and tells the band's story through their own words. The revealing documentary is followed at 10pm by The Influences of Leon, which draws together the songs that sound-tracked the formative years of the band helping to shape their sound. Kings of Leon Night culminates at 11pm with The Archives of Leon, which features classic conversations, live performances, session tracks and live lounges from the past eight years of the band coming into Radio 1.
