(Launch) - Academy Award-winning actor Marlon Brando will make a rare public appearance Sept. 7 at the all-star salute to Michael Jackson, dubbed "Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration, The Solo Years." According to event producer David Gest, Brando will also make a special presentation to Jackson at the event. The legendary actor, who stars in the upcoming movie "The Score," joins more than 200 stars in the two-day tribute to Jackson at New York's Madison Square Garden Sept. 7 and 10. Other special guests scheduled to attend the tribute include Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, 'N Sync, Ricky Martin, Quincy Jones, Gregory Peck, Angie Dickinson, Dr. Dre, Master P, Chris Tucker, Elizabeth Taylor and many others. The event will be filmed for a two-hour primetime special that will air on CBS during the 2001-2002 season.
