BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - Congratulations to new artist Matthew West; his chart-topping single, 'More,' is named No 1 among the Top 10 Christian Songs of 2004 according to the year-end readers poll at About.com.

'More' launched West's debut album, HAPPY, at the very end of 2003 and soon set a new artist record at Christian radio for spending two months at No 1. The song was soon followed by other hits 'The End' and 'You Know Where To Find Me,' plus a national tour with Avalon.

In other reader poll news, West also ranked among the Favorite Male Artists and Best New Artists of 2004 at ChristianityToday.com.

Fans anxious to see Matthew West performing again in concert can find him on the Winter Jam 05 tour bill that runs January 14 through March 5. Other acts will include tobyMac, Tait, Building 429, and Rachael Lampa. For show dates and more information, go to JamTour.com.
