Pop artist icon Peter Max said, "I am so happy to see that a concert is being held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love. It's important there is a historical legacy to the message that this time period represents. We need to always celebrate the universal values of compassion, peace and love." Peter Max is also doing a poster celebrating the event as well as the official backdrop for the main stage.
