Price Rubin Steinway Series Bringing Soon-To-Be-Discovered Talent To The Nation
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jack Price, founder of Price Rubin & Partners, recently announced the artist management company's young but already revered Steinway Series 2017 confirmed schedule. "Our Steinway Series, which is being developed with Steinway dealerships coast-to-coast, showcases undeveloped and not-yet discovered musical talent brands," said Price, concert pianist formerly known as Dickran Atamian. "Price Rubin is proud to be a part of forging ahead with promoting new talent in hopes that we all can find a place for the 21st century artist."

"There are only 45,000 slots for classical and jazz musicians at any given time, yet we have millions of artists trying to fill these slots across the globe," said Price. "The Steinway Series is a breakthrough in concertizing - artists don't have enough places to play, so I find ways to get them out there. Price Rubin proudly creates venues for artists to play."

Furthermore, the Price Rubin Steinway Series does not just include pianists, but other genres as well. The project is looking at all Steinway dealerships eventually participating in this new and exciting way to present development artists to the public at large. Admission is free, but donations for the artists are accepted at the gate.

"In my opinion, celebrity is killing classical music; it's made audiences chase after the flavor of the month, rather than focusing on the music," concluded Price, who developed the "Perfect Pressure" method of piano playing, which provides key elements in piano playing such as more control, reliability, shorter warming up, less effort and a much deeper and projecting sound. "They don't want to hear Mozart, or Beethoven, or Schumann or Brahms. They want to see this pianist or that violinist or this singer or that conductor. However, with our Steinway Series, audiences can hear classical music in its purest form performed by up-and-coming talent who play for the joy of music, not the fame."

Confirmed dates for the Steinway Series in 2017 for pianists include the Steinway Piano Gallery in Boca Raton, FL, 7940 N. Federal Highway, on January 15, featuring Krisztina Wajsa; Fryderyk Chopin Society of Texas in Corpus Christi, 4610 Abner Drive, on March 31 and April 1, featuring Alex Slobodyanik; and Pittsburgh, PA, on April 23, featuring Alexander Kobrin. The musicians range from young to mid-career artists who have earned the right to be heard before the public.
