Toronto, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Back Porch) - Serena Ryder, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Peterborough, Ontario, is on the verge of even bigger things. Now, with the Canadian success of her EMI Canada album, If Your Memory Serves You Well, she's on the brink of singing a major international recording deal, and she's been touring non-stop - mostly in the US, and including numerous dates with James Hunter - for the last three months. Now - just prior to another major US tour, this time with Xavier Rudd - she's touching down in Toronto for a concert at the Music Hall presented by House of Blues as part of the NXNE music festival. It's her first major appearance in Toronto in more than a year - and her first headlining theatre concert gig in the city.
