PHOENIX, AZ. (By Namaster PR/ www.namastepromotions.com) - On December 5, 2005, alternative modern rock band Solarcade will head into a Phoenix, Arizona studio with producer Gardner Cole to begin recording their second album. This will be Solarcade's first professional experience with Cole, although they are very familiar with and admire his work.
"We are really excited about the new songs, and having Gardner at the helm is sure to make for a tasty record," says Solarcade vocalist, Paul Van.

Cole has been a musician since the age of 3, and has been working professionally in the industry since he was 17. His performance resume includes serving as the drummer for the hit English band ABC, as well as playing keyboards for the Norwegian group A-Ha. Cole is also prolific songwriter and producer, working with the likes of Tina Turner, Peter Murphy, and Madonna. He has contributed songs and scores to a variety of films as well.
"This is an incredible opportunity for a very deserving and talented band," says Solarcade's management company, Namaste' International. "We are really looking forward to working with Gardner and hearing the finished product once he's worked his magic."

Solarcade's first album "Aliens & Angels," released in March of 2005, has met with rave reviews. The band was briefly signed to the indie label, 7Records, but all of the artists were released earlier this year when the label folded. Solarcade is actively seeking a new home for their talent.
