(SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT) - Following on from their awesome set at Homebake, Something for Kate have been confirmed to play at next year's Great Escape Festival in Sydney, which will take place over the Easter long weekend. Other artists hitting the festival include Silverchair, The Herd, Wolf & Cub, Eskimo Joe, Decoder Ring, Lior, Xavier Rudd and Josh Pyke.
The Great Escape Festival will take place over the Easter weekend, April 14th through 16th, 2006 at the Newington Armory. It's set to be a killer festival, featuring an eclectic line-up of both local and international artists.

And in further SFK news, the band have been recording their fifth album over in LA with producer Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Ben Lee, Tortoise). They've been working on it for about six weeks now, and will continue to do so into the new year.
