Frenchman Tom Glide (Paris) will be serving three tasty new remixes of New York City singer Ekayani's dance version of U.K. icon Joan Armatrading's acoustic "Like Fire"
On the menu is a progressive house, tribal house and electro house mixes along with empanadas & drink specials named after the producer the "Tom Glide" (a Tom Collins with a dash of grenadine). Limited editions of The Tom Glide Space Like Fire Remixes ep will be available for industry guests. Ekayani's latest single "THIRD EYE", a collaboration with Tom Glide vs Chris Mac Kay (Glide recordings) is included on the ep having already created a sensation in France,The Netherlands, The Balkans and Canada since its release September 20. Hopper, responsible for making "Like Fire" a downtown NYC hit for Ekayani and the Healing Band, is also responsible for actualizing the hip Radio PS 1 and is the DJ curator for the WPS1 DJ Sessions affiliated with MoMa. Label, owned by Nick Valencia, former manager of Cielo Club, is where the party is happening.
