TORONTO (Holyarc) - The excitement of a Toronto Raptors' professional basketball game will be combined with a post-game program from Read For Life, a new Canadian program to encourage young people to read life-changing books, on March 15th at downtown Toronto's Air Canada Centre. The Raptors will face the Detroit Pistons in a 7pm game, followed by a one-hour program featuring Chris Bosh of the Raptors, who will speak to youth about the importance of reading books. The theme for the evening will be "Building Bridges and Restoring Hope." Other special guests for the Raptors' Read For Life post-game program will include Melinda Newhook from Youth Unlimited, recording artist Dan Macaulay, and William Ho, founder of Hope for the Future. Award- winning author N.J. Lindquist, whose book, "In Time Of Trouble," is the first book being promoted by Read For Life, will be on hand to speak, as well. Group tickets for this event, including both the game and post-game program, are $25 (Can/U.S.) per seat, discounted from the typical $34 price. $1 per ticket goes to Read For Life.
