Additional topics covered include celeb marriages, break-ups, and notable quotes from the year, grocery patrol (pics of all your fav stars filling up their carts at the grocery store), the bff report with Lance Armstrong, Jake Gyllenhaal and Matthew McConaughey. So join us as we raise our glass to all of the celebrities out there in Hollywood-land who have given us a reason to smile in 2006.

"BEST YEAR EVER" PREMIERES FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 AT 11PM ET/PT
Between Mel Gibson's run-in with the law, celebrity babies Shiloh, Suri, and the brothers Federline, the shakeup at "The View," a little film called "Borat," and Vice President Dick Cheney shooting a guy, 2006 was a year not easily forgotten. Luckily, VH1 caught everything ... the good, the bad and the "so-bad-it-was-awesome!" This year, VH1's "Best Week Ever" overdosed on pop culture so you didn't have to, delivering "everything you loved, everything you missed, and everything you need to see again," week in, week out.

The one-hour special, "Best Year Ever," will reminisce about what we cared about in 2006; the music, the movies, the TV shows and the viral videos ... as well tackling some new subject matter like: What is the most sought-after job in America or being one of Oprah's friends! "Best Year Ever" will also feature totally original packages like an all-new edition of Paul F. Tompkins Celebrity Defender, where Paul represents many heartbroken celebrities as they take their exes to the cleaners!

Finally, "Best Year Ever" will present the award for who had the Best Year Ever, and the nominees are: Oprah's Friends, Kevin Federline, Tim Gunn, David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff and "Junk."
