Jackie Arredondo fell in love with country music while driving an 18 wheeler. Country music radio was all she listened to while she was on the road. Her new EP Just Call Me... Jackie is so titled because she'd often encountered people asking how to pronounce her last name.
There's a unique new genre in the making here. One listen to 'The Woman You Wanna Be' will hook any country music fan. But Jackie's diverse talent goes beyond where country's been so far.
Beautiful Jackie Arredondo explains, 'I would love to introduce Pop Country Latino to the Latin music market.' She says she loves the idea of putting country elements of steel guitars and country fiddles together with some Spanish flare and those trilling rolling R's.
Jackie Arredondo's 'The Woman You Wanna Be' single is available now on iTunes and the five song EP Just Call Me... Jackie will be available for purchase in September 2011.
