Atlanta, GA. (Top40 Charts/ Big Cat Records) - ATL's "Independently Made and Independently Paid" record label, Big Cat Records, is back at it again with the September 23, 2008 release of Gucci Mane's 4th album and DVD entitled, Hood Classics.

Deemed as a southern rap force to be reckoned with, Big Cat Records has heard the request of Hip Hop listeners and the order is now being filled. "We want to reward the fans with a classic hood album and DVD that will showcase Gucci Mane at his best!" proclaims Melvin Breeden, President of Big Cat Records.

"This fall we are releasing Hood Classics; which is full of hot singles that never made it to mainstream," states Big Cat CEO, Marlon Rowe. The classic LP is laced with eighteen tracks; featuring hood anthems such as, "I'm the Sh*t" and the unreleased "2008, So Icy Remix." Artists such as Young Jeezy, Killa Mike, Bun B, Black Magic and Maceo, also appear on the LP. This is a must-have collector's edition for Gucci Mane lovers and haters.

In addition to copping music, fans will also be able to view a thirty-five minute DVD of never before seen footage, which depicts an exclusive road map of Gucci Mane's life from the Trap House to mainstream. "Born in Alabama and raised in the streets of Atlanta, Hood Classics is a true reflection of the life experiences Gucci Mane has endured and enjoyed," Breeden adds.

Gucci Mane's first claim to fame came in 2005 when his smash single "Icy" melted the airwaves. Gucci's subsequent projects, Trap House, Hard to Kill and Trap-A-Thon, released on Big Cat Records, have all been extremely successful.

Big Cat Records is also the home to artists such as Khia and DipSet's Freekey Zekey. Coming in 2009, fans can check out Freekey Zekey's; Loyalty Is Everything, Gucci Mane's; Murder Was the Case, Maceo's self-titled album and Pastor Troy's Untitled.
