Celeste Stoney is 1 of 16 finalists in the Pop/Top 40 Category in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition. Over 18,000 songwriters entered this competition now only a handful remain. Winners will be announced in late April. Winner are chosen by a peoples choice vote as well as by industry judges decisions.

Celeste got her start when she was signed as a teenager to Def Jam/Murder Inc. During her time with The INC., she earned a platinum record with
Ja Rule and collaborated with other hip hop artists including Nas,
Raekwon and Foxy Brown. She gained experience on the small screen as a semi-finalist on American Idol and finalist on Making the Band III. After those stints,
Celeste took time away from the spotlight to cultivate herself as a songwriter. She signed to global independent music publisher PeerMusic in 2013. She release her debut single, "My Kinda Crazy" in Q4 of 2014. Perez Hilton says, "Celeste Stoney reminds us of Pink" and that her single, My Kinda Crazy, "could be the 2015 All About That Bass."
