New York (Top40 Charts/ Universal Motown) - After a successful summer touring as part of Vans Warped Tour and a September run of select shows in Canada that included the Virgin Festival, Toronto's seven-man band, Down With Webster, release their debut Universal Motown album, Time To Win, Vol I, today. DWW is Bucky on vocals, Pat on vocals and guitars, Tyler on bass and keys, Marty on drums, Cam on vocals, Kap the Hype Man, and Diggy the DJ. DWW has created a unique mix of rock, hip hop and pop music. Their distinctive sound has attracted the attention of industry heavyweights as varied as Timbaland and KISS front man Gene Simmons, both of whom wanted to sign DWW to their respective labels.

'They are the illest group I've ever seen live in person, and you know I'm hard to please. That group is the most amazing and creative, innovative group that's going to come out in 2010.' Timbaland

Time To Win, Vol. 1 will be released worldwide on October 6th and is the first of two seven-track albums. Time To Win, Vol. II will be released in 2010. The decision to release two records in short order addresses DWW's prolificacy as writers and recording artists, and the band's strong desire to get more music to fans for less money, and more frequently, than the standard album cycle.

The First single, 'Rich Girl$', impacts Top 40 radio in the US on October 6th with over 20 adds, and after one week is already charting in Canada and is the No 1 most added song at Top 40 radio.

Down With Webster first formed to perform in their junior high school talent show 10 years ago (they won). Drawing on the members' disparate influences from the worlds of rock, soul, funk, jazz and hip hop, they write and perform their music, and produce their records with unofficial 8th member James Robertson in their basement studio. Having played hundreds of shows, Down With Webster cultivated a rabid fan base with sly YouTube home videos and legendary and chaotic live shows in Toronto, and surrounding cities that packed in crowds of over 1,000 people; rare for an indie band that had never released a radio single or video.

'Down With Webster have the kind of boyish musical charisma that is infectious, edgy and unstoppable.' Nelly Furtado.

In 2008, DWW won the Rogers Mobile/Universal Music best unsigned artist in Canada contest, and signed with Universal Motown in 2009 after being courted by multiple labels.

The band will open on Forever the Sickest Kids' 'Cheap Date Tour' in November (see attached itinerary) to support the release of Time To Win, Vol. I. Also, look for more details to follow as Down With Webster continues to tour North America this fall and winter, as well as in Europe in early 2010.
